to receive birls for the purchase of one used 3/8 cubic yard -Link
Pelt Speeder Shovel, said machine 'to be purchased for use by
the Street Deoartricnt.
SEC TIO": 2.
In order to carry this resolution into effect, the City
i.`.anager is directed to advertise for bids by a notice posted up
at the City ?fall Door and by insertin; notice for the request .
for bids in at least one (1) issue of the Sun -Democrat, •al,ich
notice sizall be published at least seven (7) days prior to the

from the elate on which this -resolution is adopted, and no bid
shall k,e received after the hour fixed for the opening of bids.

Commissioners who shall piwcliase the machine from the lowest
responsible bidder. gids shall ce opened at a regular meeting
of the -oard of Commissioners to be held on november 2nd, 1943.

'Phe City shall reserve the vi,.ht to reject any and all
bids, and shall not become legally liable and oblinated to purcho:
ti -.e machine advertised for pursuant to this resolution until the
acceptance of a laid and the adoption of an ordinance authorizing
the execution of a contract Cor the nurchose of said machine.
