All OP,DINANCE AUT11CRIZING [TE SALE TO JARIES VQIITFIELD OF
LOT 26 IN BLOCK 1 OF THE MOLLIE 0. ALLEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
. I PADUCAH; ALSO THE SALE TO LONZO LOWERY OF PROPERTY LCC ATED AT
#1108 & 1110 HARRISON STREET; AND ALSO THE SALE TO GILMORE HODGE
OF LOT 40 IN BLOCK 6 AT 12TH AND CLAY STREETS; AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE PROPER INSTRUMENTS OF j
I aOTTMANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE }AARD OF COMMIJ51ONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of James I7hitfie3d
in the sum of ..25. 00 to be paid in cash for the purchase od
Lot No. 26 in Block No. 1 of the Eollie 0. Allen Addition to
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as shown by plat recorded in Plat
Book "A", page 66, McCracken County Court Clerks Office; and
the I."ayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
for and on behalf of the city of Paducah a deed under which said
property shall be conveyed with covenant of Special '.7abranty
of title and subject to any encroachments, defects or any state
of fact which an accurate survey of said property would show .
SECTION 2.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of L�nzo Lowery
in the sum of ,;500.00 for the purchase of property located at
#1108 and 1110 Harrison Street, the sum of 5x50.00 to be paid in
cash, and the balance to be paid tender a Contract of Sale v;herein
said City will agree and obli.-ate itself to convey said property
upon the payment of 5;50.00 on September 15th, 1943, and the payment
of the balance in eleven (11) monthly installments in the sum of 5,>3 .00
each, and one installment in the sum of ,,x15.00 due and payable Sept.
15th, 1944, totiether with interest on said balance at the rate of
6' per annum until paid; also the offer of Gilmore (lodge in the sum of
;'300.00 for the purchase of Lot 40 in block 6 At the Southeast
corner of 12th & Clay Streets, the sum of >,;100.00 to be paid
in cash and the balance in the sum of sj200 to be paid under
a Contract of Sale wherein said city will agree and obligate itseld
to convey said property upon the payment of said balance in ten (10(�
monthly :installments in the sum of ;;20.00 each, tocother I
with interest on said balance at the rate of G,: per annum until paiCi.
And the Fayor and City rlerk are hereby authorized to execute
contracts for the sale of ::aid nroperty upon the aforesaid terms t

and subject to such further terms, conditions and covenants as may!
be required by the City T.Tanager. I
SEC TI OPT 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
