HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 10, Page 854, No Ordinance Number854 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE TO CURTIS SUGGS OF LOTS NOS. 3 and 4 IN BLOCK 3 OF VAUGHN'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; PRESCRIBING THE TERAIS UNDER WHICH SAID PROPERTY SHALL BE CONVEYED; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO THE PURCHASER BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the offer of Curtis Suggs in the sum of $165.00 for the purchase of lots Nos 3 and 4 in Plock No. 3 of Vaughn's Addition to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as shown by plat of said Addition recorded in Plat Book "A" pages 36 and 37 in the McCracken County Court Clerks Office, the sum of $55.00 to be paid in cash, and the balm ce of $110.00 to be evidenced by a note payable in six (6) installments in the sum of $15.00 per month, the first of said monthly install- ments to be due and payable on May , 1943, and one installment in the sum of $20.00 to be due and payable on November 1943. A lien shall be retained upon the property conveyed as security for the remainder of the purchase price. The Mayor and City clerk are hereby authorized and empowered to execute for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a deed under which said property shall be conveyed to Curtis Suggs with covenant of 6pecial :Jarranty, and subject to defects, en- croachments, or any other state of facts which an accurate survey would show. SECTION 3.
