A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE WAR PRODUCTION BOARD TO

ISSUE A PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRIC FACILITIES TO
SUPPLY CURRENT AT THE PADUCAH AND MCCRACKEN COUNTY AIRPORT
MAINTAINED B.( THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, a System of electric lighting has been installed
at the Paducah and McCracken County Airport, but a connection with
the lines of a distributor of electricity cannot be made without
the permission of the War Production Board; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the airport be made available
for use at night if it is to serve the purposes intended when
constructed;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CO10,!I33IONERS

OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the city of Paducah in conjunction with the Fiscal
Court of McCracken County, Kentucky, request the War Production
Board to issue a permit under which a connection may be made
with the line of an electric utility system in order to provide
current for the lighting of the Paducah and %IcCracken County
Airport, and that the system making such connection be permitted

to withdraw sufficient materials from its stock for the con-
struction of a connecting line and for the supplying of sufficient.'

SECTION -2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
