AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS FOR
THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN LOTS OR PARCELS OF LAND OWNED BY THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE SOLD, PRESCRIB

ING THE TERMS OF SALE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO

EXECUTE DEEDS OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CI7
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.

That the City of Paducah accept the hereinafter mentioned
offers for the purchase of certain lots or parcels of land owned
by it. The bidders, the amounts offered and the property to be !
lsold are as follows:

(1) Mrs. George L. Fielder - Lot 24 in Block 2 of
Terrell+s Fountain Park Addition as shown by plat of said addition
recorded in Plat Book "A", page 84, in the McCracken County Court

Clerk's Office - x¢51:00 cash. �

(2) T.B.Largent - L-)ts 15, 16 and 17 in Block 1 of Hayes
sub -division to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as shown by plat of
said sub -division recorded in Deed .-ook 40, page 65 in the aforesaid
Clerk's office - $100.00 cash.

(3) Henry F. Turner, Sr., purchased by L. L. Downey as
I'Agent - Lots 10 and 11 in Block "E" of Nauheim+s Addition to the City
I;
of Paducah, Kentucky, as shown by plat of said addition recorded in'
Plat Book "A", pages 166-167 of the aforesaid Clerk's Office -
1$75.00 cash.
(4) Mrs. H. T. Rivers - Lot 2Din Block 3 of Terrell+s
Fountain Park Addition as shown by plat of said addition recorded in
(Plat Book "A", page 84, in the aforesaid Clerk's Office - $p75.00 cash.
(5) M. H. Skinner - Lots 42, 43, 44 and 45 in Block 2 of
Terrell+s Fountain Bark Addition to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as
shown by plat of said Addition recorded in Plat Book "A", page 84
in the aforesaid Clerk's Office - $250.00 cash.
(6) Robert L. Reeves - being a lot with a frontage of
40 feet on the westerly side of 7th Street, beginning 133; feet
north of the Northwest corner of 7th & Washington streets and numning
back for depth 57-3/4 feet - $150.00 cash.
(7) W. L. Moore - Lot 8 in Block 5 as shown by the Plat!
of Rowland Place recorded in Deed Book 40, page 366, McCracken County
Court Clerk's Office - $50.00 cash. I

SECTION 2.
That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
and empowered to execute for and on behalf of the City of Paducah
deeds under which the above described property shall be conveyed
with covenant of speciak warranty and subject to defects, en-
croachments or any state of facts which an accurate survey would
show.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
