A RESOLUTION AUTHOR IZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN ASPHALT MIXER, PRESCRIBING THE
TERMS UNDER I'MICH SAID EQUIPMENT SHALL BE PURCHASED
BE IT RESOLVED B'? THE BOARD OF C01,94ISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized
to advertise for the purchase by the City of Paducah of -
One (1) Cold Patch Asphalt P;ixor of ten (10)
cubic foot capacity with double removable drums,
having 4 cylinder gas engine complete with all
standard equipment and 4 steel wheels.
He shall advertise for either a new or used mixer, by bids
posted up at the City Hall Door and by inserting notice of the
request for bids in at least one (1) issue of the Sun -Democrat,
said notice to be published at least seven (7) days prior to the
opening of bids.
No bids shall be opened within ten (10) days after the
date on i^hich this resolution is adopted, and no bids shall
be received after the hour fixed for the opening of bids.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
