AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,453.41 WITH ENGLAND
CONSTRUCTION FOR RESTROOM BUILDING RENOVATIONS AT THE PADUCAH
POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2001-10-6440 to enter into a
contract with England Construction in the amount of $9,757.36 for restroom building
renovations at the Paducah Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$1,453.41 for various needed repairs at the Police Department and to finalize the project for the
above referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $11,210.77.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $1,453.41 with England Construction for various
needed repairs to finalize the project, increasing the total cost to $11,210.77.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
