HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 10, Page 804, No Ordinance Number81 li AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER I INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF GASOLINE AND OIL FROM THE STANDARD OIL COMPANY, FOR A PERIOD OF NINETY (90) DAYS FROM NOVEMBER 11TH, 1942, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS UNDER WHICH SAID PURCHASES SHALL BE MADE I� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIRAISSIONERS OF' THE UITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. i, That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into and execute with the Standard Oil Company a contract for the purchase by the City upon its order the gasoline and oil requirement for all governmental operations during a period of i ninety (90) days from November 11th, 1942, said contract to contain the following terms, conditions and covenants: - "The Company hereby agrees to sell and deliver to the City upon its order the gasoline and motor oil required for all governmental operations during a period of ninety (90) days from November 11th, 1942, at the following prices: - Gasoline . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 13¢ per gallon First Grade Motor Oil (Essolube) . . . . . . . 42¢ per gallon Second Grade Motor Oil (Kyso) . . . . . . . . 28¢ per gallon Subject to deposit on drums of $10.00 Heavy Iron Barrells 4.00 Light Iron Barrells "Payment shall be made by the City on or about the first of each month for the amount of products sold and delivered during the preeeding month.
