That Sections 73, 74 and 103 of an ordinance entitled: i i "AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND REGULATING THE LICENSE TAXES, AND 14ANNER AND FOR&4 OF GRANTING AND ISSUING SAME ON THE VARIOUS LINES j OF BUSINESS, OCCUPATIONS, PROFESSIONS, TRADES AND CALLINGS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR NON-PAYMENT i THEREOF, AND FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, AND MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO I ENGAGE IN ANY SUCH LINES OF BUSINESS, OCCUPATIONS, PROFESSIONS, j TRADES AND CALLINGS 'NITHOUT FIRST PAYING THE LICENSE TAX AND PROCURING LICENSES AS PROVIDED HEREIN", which was adopted by the II I Board of Commissioners on December 30th, 1940, be and the same are i hereby amended so that said sections as amended shall read as follows: 1I "Section 73. Dry Cleaners, Dyers, Operating Plant- j Each person engaged in the business of cleaning clothes, i rugs, draperies or any other fabric or materials and operation a plant either inside or outside the city where such work is done I Iishall pay a license tax of $25.00. I Ecah person conducting the business of dry cleaning, dyeing i renovating, pressing and storing clothes, rugs, draperies or other fabrics or materials used for the furnishing and decorating of the j ,I .interior of homes or business houses and operating a plant ti•:here such work is done, either inside or outside of the city, �shail pay a license tax of 4150.00. "Section 74. Soliciting Dry Cleaning, Dyeing, etc., I II Having Work done oytside City. j jj Each person engaged in the business of soliciting dry cleaning, dyeing, renovating or pressing of clothes, rugs, • (draperies or other fabrics or materials and having the work jidone at plants located outside the city and owned by others !ishall pay 4 license tax of 5200.00. 722 "Section 103. Laundry Each person operating a Laundry, hand or steam, and I operating, either inside or outside the city, a plant or place of business where such work is done, shall pay a license tax of $50.00. Each person engaged in the business of soliciting laundry and having the work done at plants located outside the city and owned by others shall pay a license tax of $200.00." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
