That all of the property on both sides of Clark Street from I the West property line of 7th Street to the East property line of 1.1urrell Eouihevard in the City of Paducah, T,icCracken County, Kentucky, as shown by estimates on .file in the Engineers office in the City Rall in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be and the same is hereby assessed L'or the cost of construction of said paved street with all necessary i curbs, gutters, driveways, manholes, intakes, catch basins, sewer and drain pipes and all necessary engineering, equipnent, advertising and legal and clerical services in connection tllerevd th, the portion of said cost of improvement required to be paid by said property owners shall be the following amount per front foot, to -wit: Total cost against the property oviners between 7th Street and 9th Street is P'1.90 per front foot for street paving; all curbs shall be x,O.30 per linear foot; all gutters shall be "�O.20 per linear .Coot, all driveways shall be ,0.12 per souare door, and between 9th Street and 1,4urrell Boulevard the amount for street paving i. shall be ?2.15 per front foot; tia t all of said estimates are on file in the office of the Engineering Department in the City Fall and are referred to and made a part hereof i SECTION 2. That one-half of said assessment as against each lot as shown by said assessment and estimate of said engineer is now due and unless paid within ten (10) days after the adoption of this ordinance there shall be added thereto a penalty of 6;'o and a lien is declared to exist upon said lots and parcels of real estate for the portion of cost of said improvement so assessed as herein provided, and the i amount of said assessment shall bear interest upon any part thereof. I that remains unpaid for ten (10) days after same is due to be paid at the rate of 6 per annmm in addition to the penalties aforesaid,! I r:hich lien shall be superior to all other liens except the lien for State, County and City taxes. SECTION 3, i The publication of this ordinance shall be notice to all i persons interested and due to pay said Assessment, of the time and place to pay the same. Said assessment will be Paid one-half tithin ten (10) days from the publication of this ordinance, and the other; 694 one-half will be paid when the Board of Commissioners shall declare by ordinance or resolution, that said work and said improvement has been one-half completed. SECTIOII 4. This ordinance shall be in full .force and effect from and after its adoption.
