That all of the property on both sides of 11th Street :from the South property line of Tennessee Street to the South prop -'j erty line of Caldwell Street in the City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, as shown by estimates on file in the Engineer's I office in the City hall in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be and the same is hereby assessed for the cost of construction of said I; paved street with all necessary crubs, Cutters,°driveways, manholes; I; intakes, catch basins, sewer and drain pipes and all necessary li engineering, equipment, advertising and legal and clerical servicesi in connection therewith, the portion of said cost of improvement required to be paid by said property owners shall be the following amount per front foot, to -crit; Total cost against the property owners on 11th Street between j Tennessee Street and Caldwell Street for street paving ?p1.70 per front foot; all driveways to be �f0.12 per square Toot, all curbs to be ;;0.30 per linear foot, all gutters to be •;0.20 per linear foot; that all of said estimates are on file in the office of the Engineering Department in the City Hall, and are referred to and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. That one-half of said assessment as against each lot as shown by said assessment and estimate of raid Engineer was due at the commencement of said work and has heretofore been assessed, and the Board of Commissioners having by this ordinance determined that I said work has been half completed and the last half of said i assessment is now due be be paid, said last half shall be paid I I I,within ten (10) days after the adoption of this ordinance and I unless so paid there shall be added thereto a penalty of 6% and a i liah is declared to exist upon said lots and parceld of real estate] [i for the proportionate cost of said improvements as assessed as 1 �I herein provided in addition to the assessment for the first half of the cost thereof as hereinbefore made; and the amount of said assessment shall bear interest upon any part thereof that remains i unpaid for ten (10) days after the same is due to be paid as herein, provided at the rate of 6 per annum in addition to the penalty !' I aforesaid, which lien shall be superior to all other liens except ;I the liens for State, County and City taxes. i SECTION 3. j The publication of this ordinance shall be notice tr, ail persons interested and due to pay said assessment, of the time and place to pay the same. Said assessment will be paid within Len (10) I' days from the publication of this ordinance. i 686 SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and 11� after its adoption.
