A RESOLUTION EXEMPTING FROM i.WNICIPAL TAXATION FOR A
PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS ME I.'l+ITUPACTURING BUSINESS AND PROPERTIES
OF JONES PACKING COPSPANY LOCATED AT SECOND AND JACKSON STREETS IN I

THE CITY OF PAM CAH, IE-IITUCKY

WHEREAS, the Jones Packing Cn.mpany is engaged in the
business of manufacturing packing house products at Second &
Jackson Streets in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and has made
application for exemption from municipal taxation on its business
and manufacturing properties at the above location; and,
7.HEREAS, it appearing that the manufacturing plant of
said applicant is a bona fide manufacturing enterprise and should
be exempt from taxation for a period of five (5) years as an
inducement to the operation of such business in the City of
Paducah, -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COM1,11ISSIOI•IERS 0, THE CI`)f OF PADL'CAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the business of the Jones Packing Company and all
manufacturing properties owned and operated by it at the oorner of
Secpnd & Jackson Streets in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be exempt
from the payment to the City of Paducah of -all license taxes and all
ad valorem taxes for a period of five (5) years beginning with the
year 1941.
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
