OLD TOWN OF PADUCAH, ID BE USED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MAINTENANCE AND OFERATION OF THE WATER WORKS SYSTEId IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING 1H E ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED UPON THE PAYMENT BY SAID COMMISSIONERS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE AMOUNTING TO .w3,000.00 THAT WHEREAS, at a Commissioners Sale held on November 11, 1940, pursuant to a judgment bendered in the action of City of Paducah against J. Fort Abell, under Amended Petition No. 373, J. S. Jackson, Estate, Branch, the Commissioners of Water .'works of the City of Paducah, bought in for the sum of $3,000.00 Tract No. 3 as described in said judgment; and, WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Vlater :Yorks have submitted to the City of Paducah their written request for its approval of the purchase of said property, stgtino in said request that said property is to be used as a garage and store room at the plant; NOV1, THEREFORE, i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: i SECTION 1. That the action of the Commissioners of 17ater 'Works in i, bidding the sum of $3,000.00 for the purchase of Lot No. 36 in Block No. 7, Old Town of Paducah, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed, and that the City of Paducah accept a deed to said property upon the payment of said purchase price by the Commissioners of 'Nater Works. Section 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for public inspection at Is ast seven (7) days in the completed form in vh ich it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter. i!
