STnLET IS C'2.15 PER ABU PTIi]G FOOR; and, INHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has heretofore adopted an ordinance providing- for the © nstructi-on and reconstruction of said driveway under the terms of said Act aforesaid, and pursuant to its provisions; and Iii1SREAS, work on said improvement has been half completed, and hereby declared by the Board of Commissioners to have been half cosy pleted on and before this date, and the estimated cost thereof is now due to be paid to the City Treasurer, and the first half thereon havin;; been assessed at the time of corr•mendement of said e^cork and 1 the last half is due to be assessed when the work is half comoleted, NOW, 'MEhEFOhE, BE IT OhDAKXLD B`; THE BOAhD OF COi,:I,.ISSIONLRS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, K:-NTUC:IY: I' SECTION 1. ij q That all of the -.property on both sides of i,adison Street from it the hest property line of ,th St. to the East property line of 16tH St. i g excluding, intersection at 15th Street in tree City of Paducah, 1,cCoacken Page 360 County, Kentucky, as shown by estimates on file in the Engineers Office in the City Hall in the City of raducah, Kentucky, be and I i the same is hereby assessed for the cost of construction of said I paved street with all necessary manholes, intakes, catch basins, sewer and drain pipes and all necessaryen;ineerin;, adverL'isin and legal and clerical services in connection therewith, the portion j of said cost of improvement req_i;ired to be paid by said property j owners the following amount per fromt foot, to -wit: `total cost against the property owners on 1.:adim n Street between 9th Street and 16th Street is x;2.15 per abuttin:3 foot; that all of said estimates are on file in the office of the bnTineering Department i in the City Hall, and are referred to and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. That one-half of said assessments as against each lot as shown by said assessment and estimate of said engineer was dace I at the commencement of said :Tori: and has heretofore been assessed and the Board of CorL-iissioners havin73 by this ordinance determinedi that said work has been halff completed, and the last half of said assessment is now due to be paid, said last half shall be paid within 10 days after the adoption of this ordinance and unless j so paid there shall be added thereto a penalty of 6)p and a lien is declared to exiss upon said lots and Ca reels of real e state for the proportionate cost of said improvements so assessed as herein pro -i vided in addition to the assessment for the first half of the cost! thereof as hereinbefore made; and the amount of said assessment I shall bear interest upon any part thereof that remains unpaid for 10 days after the same is due to be paid as herein provided at thei i rate of 6;' per annum in addition to the penalty aforesaid, w hich lien shall be superior to all other liens except tae liens for I State, County and City taxes. SECTION 3. The piiolication of this ordinance shall be notice to all persons interested and d -ie to pay said assessment, of the time and place to pay the same. Said assessment will be paid within ten (10) I days from the publication of this ordinance. SECTION 4.
