A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING TO JAMrS P. SMITH, CITY
MANAGER, THE APPRECIATION OF THE BOARD OF C01-81ISSIONERS FOR THE
WORK DONE BY HIM IN HAVING REPAIRED, REPAINTED AND REDECORATED
THE CITY HALL AND ITS OFFICFS
THAT, WHEREAS, the City Hall and the offices
therein were in a very bad state of repair due to lack of
attention; and
6U EREAS, the City Manager, with nominal expense
to the City, has caused the interior of most of the building to be
repaired, repainted and redecorated, and its appearance has been
so improved that the members of the Board of Commissioners feel
that in some manner they should express to the City Manager
their appreciation of the interest he has taken in the improvement
of the city's property;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
.SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and the members of the Board
Of Commissioners are heartily in accord with the City &anagens
plan for repairing, repainting and redecorating the interior
of t e City Hall and they desire, by the adoption of this
resolution, to express to him their thanks for the interest he has
taken in the improvement of the cityfs propertyg
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
