BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCI:Y: SECTION 1. ii That Section 6 of an Ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED, 'AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND REGULATING THE MARKET HOUSE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, K aTTUCKY, PRESCRIBING THE RULES FOR THE CDNDUCT THEREOF, THE PENALTIES THEREUNDER AND FIXING THE PRICE TO BE CHARGED AND TILE RENT OF BENCHES AND STALLS THEREIN' .VHICH 1VAS ADOPTED BY TIM BOARD OF COMI:ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ON DECEI,IBER 15, 1915" which was amended by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah on January 30th, 1940, be and the same is hereby amended so that Section 6 of said ordinance shall read as follows: "Section 6 - With the exception of Sundays and Holidays: said IMarket shall remain open every day in the week between the hours of 4:00 o'clock A.M. and 11:00 o'clock A.P.R., but on Saturdays; said Market shall remain open until 9:00 o'clock P.M. Provided, I however that from October 15th.to April 15th of each year the closing hour on Saturdays shall be 8:00 o'clock P.M. It shall be the duty of the Market I+Iaster to superintend the market and keep the market place thoroughly clean and in good order. He shall, at the times fixed by this.ordinance open said market, and during market hours be in constant attendance and preserve good order. He shall see that no imposAtion is practiced by the seller on the buyer, or upon the seller by the buyer, and shall have power at all times to order suspicious, idle or dis- orderly persons away from said Market." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from i and after its adoption.
