HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 10, Page 1553, No Ordinance Number•t 1553 it I AN ORDINANCE DECLARING SOUTH FIFTH STREET FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF JACKSON STREET TO THE NORTH LINE OF JONES STREET TO BE A BOULEVARD, REGULATING THE SANE, AND PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO1MdIa3IONERS OF' THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY: SECTION ONE That South Fifth Street from the south side of the intersection of Fifth and Jackson Streets southwardly to the north side of the intersection of Fifth and Jones Streets be, and the same is hereby declared to be a boulevard , and all vehicles of every kind approa ching said street or boulevard at the intersection of the same sha come to a complete stop before proceeding to enter or cross said street or boulevard. SECTION TWO Any person, firm, company or corporation violating the provisi of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conv thereof, shall be fined not less than Five Dollars and not more t Twenty Dollars for each violation thereof. SECTION THREE All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION FOUR This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
