A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF 0500.00
TO THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
FOR USE IN THE PAYMENT OF THE FEE OF WALLER, THRELKELD &
WHITLOW FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THEM AS ATTORNEYS FOR SAID
BOARD FRO14 JULY 1, 1946 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1946, INCLUSIVE IN
THE SUIT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ET AL AGAINST THE
KENTUCKY UTILITIES COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, has submitted to the City of Paducah its resolution request-
ing the appropriation of the sum of '$500 to be used for payment of the
Board's attorneys, Waller, Threlkeld & Whitlow for legal services rend-
ered by said attorneys from July 1, 1946 to September 30, 1946, inclu-
sive, and said board has recommended the payment of a fee to them for
their services during said period.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH:
SECTION ONE
That the request of the Electric Plant Board be granted and the
City Manager and the City Treasurer are hereby authorized and empoiered
to deliver to said Board a check in the sum of $500, to be used foxj pay-
ment of the bill of Waller, Threlkeld & 15hitlow for services rendered by
them as attorneys for said board from July 1, 1946 to September 30, 1946,
inclusive, in the suit of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, et al, ,as
the Kentucky Utilities Company now pending in the McCracken Circuit)
Court.
SEC TION TWO
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
