AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A STENOGRAPHER
TO BE EMPLOYED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER, PRESCRIBING
HER DUTIES, AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH SHE
SHALL RECEIVE FOR HER SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION ONE
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized
to appoint a stenographer to be employed in his office. It shall
be the duty of said stenographer to do and to perform such pther
duties as may be required by the City Manager.
SECTION TWO
The stenographer employed by the City Manager shall re-
ceive a salary in the sum of {175.00 per month, said salary to
be paid to her at the same time and in the same manner as the
salaries of other employees are paid.
SECTION TIR'EE
There is hereby appropriated the sum of x{175.00 for
Payment of the salary of the Stenographer employed by the City
Manager for the period from December 2, 1946 to January 1, 1947,
the amount of said appropriation to be charged to the contingent
fund.
SECTION FOUR
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after December 2, 1946.
