BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A TAX BILLING i.iACHINL FOR USE IN THE
CITY TREASURER'S OFFICE, AND PROVIDING THE CANNER IN VIH ICH SAID
BIDS SHALL BE RECEIVED
BE, IT RESOL')ED BY TIME BOARD OF COI.IJISSIONERS OF TIM CITY
t,F PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City i:ianager be, and he is hereby authorized
to advertise for bids for the purchase of a machine for tax
billing to be used in the office of the City Treasurer. He
shall advertise for said bids by posting a notice up at the
City Hall door and by inserting notice of the request for bids
in at least c.•ne issue of the Sun -Democrat, the notice shall be
posted and published at least seven days prior to the opening
of bids and no bid shall be opened within ten (10) days from
the date of the adoption of this resolution. No bid shall be
received unless it is under seal, nor shall any bid be received
after the hour fixed in the notice for the opening of bids.
All bids received by the City I<anager up to the time fixed in
the notice shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners who
may let the contract to the loviest and best responsibl bidder.
The Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to reject
any and all bids and the City shall not be come legally obligated
to purchase said machine until the adoption of an ordinance
authorizing the execution of a contract.
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
afid after its adoption.
