AN ORDINL ANCE AFPROPRIATING TIIE SUI. OF ;11350.00 FOR THE
PURCHASE F30I+11 THE TRADING CORPORATION OF A LOT 50.01 FEET
IP, V,IDTH AND 229.6 FEET IN DEPTH Oil THE SOUTH SIDE OF 'WASHINGTON
STREET, SAID LOT INCLUDING A PORTION OP 29TH STREET IF SAID
STREET WERE EXTENDED FROId CLARK STREET TO WASHINGTON STREET,
AND AUTHORIZING -HE ACCEPTANCE O A DEED TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI.iMI33ION RS 0M, TIE
CITY OF PADUCAH, I. NTUCI:Y:
SECTION 1.
That the sum of „350.00 be, and the same is hereby
appropriated for payment of the purchase price of a lot to.be
conveyed to the City of Paducah by The Trading Corporation, said
lot beinr, 50.01 feet in width and 229.6 feet in depth on the
south side of 'Washington Street, the same including a portion
of 29th Street if said street were extended from Clark Street
to •�ashiri�ton Street, and the amount appropriated for payment
of the purchase price shall be charged to the continGent fund.
• SEC TION 2.
The City Cl-rk is hereby authorized to accept a deed
to the above described property when all taxes assessed against
it have boon paid by the Trading Corporation and he is advised by
the attorney for the city t'. -at said corporation is seized of a
food and m.:ar'etable title.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
