BE IT ORLAIN'ED BY THE L-OARD OF C01,114I33IONi Ra OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Sectior 5 of an ordinance entitled: "A:I ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND REGULATING THE LICEi:3I1•:G AnD 1NOCULATION OF DOGS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; FROSILITING THE O.7NERS OR KEEPERS OF DOGS FROM ALLO'', ING SUCH DOGS TO BE AT LARGE; AND IItP03ING P3IC- ALTIES UPON OV," IERS AND KEEFER3 OF DOGS FOR :•ION-PAY:i.EPIT OF LICENSE TAXES THEREON AND FOR VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE" which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on I.ay 18, 1943 and amended on June lst, 1943, be and the same is hereby amended so that said Section as amended shall read as follows: "SECTIO1. 5. Any dog found at large, either licensed or unlicensed, shall be subject to be seized and impounded by the City of Paducah and such dot* not claimed and whose release has not been procured within seven (7) days after its seizure, shall be subject to be destroyed in the manner as may be determined by the city veterinarian or Live Stocl, inspector. Any licensed dog may be redeemed and released to its owner or keeper within seven (7) days after bein-g- taken up and impounded, and for every licensed dog redeemed and released to its owner or keeper there shall be paid to the City of Paducah a redemption fee of One (:yA.00) Dollar and in addition, the sum of Twenty-five (25¢) cents per day to cover the cost of keeping such dog while in the pound. If' any do.g so released has not been licensed, the sum of Two (.2.00) Dollars shall be charged and One (.'1.00) Dollar of the fee paid shall be expended for the purpose of having said dog inoculated at the time of its release, plus the sum of Twenty-five (25�) cents per day to cover the cost of keeping such doh while in the pound. AIM For the purpose of carrying this ordinance into effect, any police officer or any person especially employed or appointed for that purpose may seize and impound any dog found at laree." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts oil ordinances in conflict 1400 herewith are,.to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTIOt'i 3.
