HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 10, Page 1386, No Resolution Number1386 A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION I OF A RESOLUTION ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR • BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF' FIVE 1946 FIVE -PASSENGER FOUR DOOR AUT0140BILES TO BE USED BY MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASES SHALL BE MADE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON MAY 7, 1946. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0141ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section I of a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIVE 1946 FIVE -PASSENGER FOUR DOOR AUTOMOBILES TO BE USED BY MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPAR BAENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASES SHALL BE MADE", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on May 7, 1946, be amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: 11 Section 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the sale to the City of Paducah of five (5) 1946 Five -Passenger Four - Door Automobiles suitable for use in the Police Department of said city. Each bidder shall show in his bid the credits which will be allowed for the five automobiles owned by the city which are to be traded in for the aforesaid new 1946 automobiles. No bid shall be considered unless it contains the written agreement of the dealer that said automobile, if purchased, shall be delivered to the City within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of such purchase." SECTION II.
