SECTION 1.
That the City i.?anager be, and he is hereby authorized
to enter into and execute with t'ie Shell Oil Company a contract
for the purchase bj the City upon its order the gasoline and
oil required for all governmental operations during a period of
four (4) months from May lst, 1946, said contract to contain the
following terms, conditions and covenants: -
"The Company hereby aZrees to sell and deliver to the City
upon its order the gasoline and motor oil required for all govern-
mental operations durinr a period of four (4) months from i:ar
1st, 1946, at the follorrinZ p -r ces:
Ethyl Gasoline0.155 Per Gal

(The above motor oil prices are subject to quantity

"Payment shall be made by the City not later than the tenth
of each month for the amount of products sold and delivered during
the preceding month.
"In consideration of the Agreement of the City to
purchase of the Company all of the gasoline and motor oil re-
quired for use dnrin.- the aforesaid period, the Company agrees
