HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 10, Page 1374, No Ordinance Number4- 1374 AN ORDINANCE M -ENDING SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATION OF TANK TRUCKS USED FOR TH TRANSPORTATION OF GASOLINE OR OTHER INFLAMNIBLE LIQUID OVER CLRTAI STREETS IN T[IE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY F VIOLATING THE PROVISIONS THEREOF", 'NHICH 71AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COPIN:ISSIONERS ON APRIL 16th, 1946 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMVISSIONL?S CF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 2 of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATION OF TANK TRUCKS USED FOR THE TRANSPORTATI OF GASOLINE OR OTHER INFLAiMIBLE LIQUID OVER CERTAIN STREETS IN TH CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING `riE PENALTY FOR VIOLATING TH PROVISIONS 'THEREOF", which was adopted by the Board of Commissione on April 16th, 1946, be and the same is hereby amended so that sai Section as amended shall read as follows, to -wit - "Section 2. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a tank truck to drive the same into, upon or over any street, alley, or other public way located within that area of the city of Paduca bounded on the South by the North line of Clark Street, on the Wes by the East line of 9th Street, on the North by the South line of Madison Street, and on the Esst by the Ohio River for any purpose except for delivering gas to a filling station within said area, and for servicing tires. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
