A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACTING CITY MANAGER TO LEASE
FOR THE REMIAINDER OF THE YEAR 1946 UPON SUCH TERMS AS HE MAY BELIE
ADVISABLE THE ADVERTISING SPACE UPON TRASH CANS WHICH HAVE LEEN
PURCHASED BY THE CITY
WHEREAS, the space on the twenty-five (25) trash cans
purchased by the' City of Paducah will be available for advertising;
and,
WHEREAS, the total revenues which the City of Paducah woul$
receive by leasing the space on said cans during the remainder of t e
year will amount to less than Five Hundred ($x500.000 Dollars, and it is
therefore unnecessary for the City L:anager to advertise for bids fo
the leasing of the advertising space or for the. Board of Commiss ioni rs
to adopt an ordinance authorizing the execution of a lease.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMM 6S10NER3
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to le

for the reminder of the year 1946 upon such terms as he may believe
advisable the advertising space upon the twenty-five trash cans to
be purchased by the City of Paducah, said lease to contain the term ,
conditions and covenants which will protect the interests of the city
SEC TION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
