That upon the reco�c.nendation and request of the City Plannin-, and mooning Commission as s'zown by its final report embodied in a resolution adopted by it on Au,_;ust 17th, 1925, all of the property on the Ilorth side of Jackson Street from the West property line of 31st Street to the iast property line of the Lone Oak Road, more particularly described as follows: Begianin3 point where the center line of the Old Clinton road intersects the .','est property line of'31st Street; thence ivesterly along said centt3 line 231.97 feet; thence northwesterly 93 feet to the South line o a 15 foot alley and also the South line of the-chmaus Addition; thence westerly along said property line of �chmausl Addition to t e East line of the Lone Oak Road; thence :south along the ?ast line o the Lone Oak Road to the Ilorth line of Jackson Street; thence east's alon- the north line of J 1 t a ac,son Street to tae gest line of 31st 'St eet; thence Northtivardly along the "lest line of 31st Street to the point of beSinninC is hereby declared to be a residential districtvvithin the meaning of the City Plannin; and Soning Commission Latin, and to be used for residential purposes only. SECTION 2. Any property owner, tenant or other person who erects, constructs or reconstructs any building in violation of or contrary to the aforesaid provision of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall e fined in any sum not.less than "10.00 nor more than :;100.00 for ea h offense so committed and each day such offense is committed shall e deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to a separate penal under the provisions hereof, or the person so offending; or so -uilty of violation of the pro visions hereof, may, in addition to such fi e be imprisoned not more than fifty (50) days at the discretion of tie Judge or Jury tryin the case. 1209 SECTION 3.
