ORDINANCE NO. 2002-A -Cel-7,5-
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE CITY'S 2001 STREET RESURFACING
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2001-4-6346 the City of Paducah approved a
contract with Jim Smith Contracting Company Inc. in the amount of $1,075,668.00 for
the City's 2001 Calendar Year Street Resurfacing Program; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for additional work
performed on this project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order
No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $126,226.14 with Jim Smith Contracting Company
Inc., thereby increasing the total contract amount to $1,203,514.14 for the City's 2001
street resurfacing program.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the following accounts:
003-2217-531-4227 MAP; 003-2217-531-3919 ST0013 (Concrete); and 040-8821-536-
2307 PA0028 (Noble Park Peck Road).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
