AN (RDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE TO I:'JtS. BESS B. 13A3IIAIS
. OF LOT 8 III BLOCK "V" OF GREGORY HEIGHTS SUB.*DIVISIOIT TO THE
CITY OF PADUCAH; ALSO THE SALE TO RAY H. JACOBS OF A LOT ON
THE INEST SIDE OF 5TH STREET; ALSO THE SALE TO JERRY R. LEE OF
THE NORTIi ONE-HALF OF LOT 32 IN BLOCK 28 ON 13URIIETT STREET;
AND ALSO THE SALE TO ERNEST SLOAN OF LOT 54 IN BLOCK 29 OF
HARRIS, FLOURNOY, NORTON & TRI.'.§BLE A. DITION TO THE CITY OF
PADUCAH; AM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR r;ND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
PROPER INSTRUPIETTS OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIIP:IISSIOITERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SEC TION 1.
That the City accept the offer of Mrs. Bess B. ',7asham
inthe amount of 225.00 cash for the purchase of Lot 8 in
Block "V" of Gregory Hcights Sub -division as shown by plat
recorded in Plat Book "A", page 118, L1cCracken County court
Clerk's Office; also the offer of Ray H. .Jacobs in the amount
of :;75.00 cash for the purchase of a lot located at the north
West corner of 5th 8: Caldwell Streets; also the offer of Jerry
R. Lee in the sum of ,y50.00 cash for the purchase of the North
one-half of Lot 32, Block 28, said lot being on the East side
of Burnett Street and beginning 100 feet North of the Northeast
corner of 7th & Burnett Street; and also the offer of Ernest
Sloan in the amount of 85.00 for the purchase of Lot 54 in
Block 29, said lot being on the South side of 7th Street and
beginning 96 feet east of the :southeast corner of 7th & Burnett
Streets, ;825.00 of the purchase price to be paid in cash and
the balance to be paid at the rate of •;?20.00 per month with
6;41 interest; and the mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, instruments
under which said property shall be conveyed with covenant of
Special 17arranty of title, and subject to any encroachments,
defends, or any state of facts which an accurate survey of said
property would show.
SECTION
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
