AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE TO FRANK & KATHERIINE
ROBERTSON OF LOTS 14 & 15 in BLOCK 25 ON WASIiINGTON STREET BETNEEN
19th & 20th STREETS; ALSO THE SALE TO 0. R. MOYERS OF LOT 13 in BL
4 ON CLAY STREET BEYOND 21st; AND ALSO THE SALE TO :7. F. & VERA
HIGGINBOTHAM OF LOTS 14 TO 20 INCLUSIVE IPI BLOCK 4 ON CLAY STREET
BEYOND 21st; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
PROPER INSTRUMENTS OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, K E TUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of Frank and
Katherine Robertson in the sum of :;250.00 cash for the purchase of
Lots 14 & 15 in -lock 25 located on the South side of !'Jashington
Street between 19th & 20th Streets; also the offer of O.R.Moyers
in the sum of �65.00 for the purchase of Lot 13 in Block 4 of
Terrell's Founta i n Park Addition as shown by plat recorded in Fla
Book "A", page 84, McCracken County Court Clerk's Office, 5,20.00
of the purchase price to be paid in cash and the balance to be pai
at the rate of .;;10.00 per month with 6/1 interest; and als® the off
of C;.F. & Vera Higginbotham in the sum of .;435.00 for the purchase
of Lots 14 to 2J inclusive in Block 4 of Terrellts Fountain Park
Addition to the City of Paducah as shown by plat recorded in Plat
Book "A" page 84, M6oresaid Clerk's Office, :x275.00 of the purchas
price to be paid in cash and the balance to be paid at the rate of
$20.00 per month with 6% interest, said payments in the amount of
$*20.00 bo begin on December 1st, 1944; and the Mayor and City Cler
are hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City of
Paducah, instruments under which said property shall be conveyed w
covenant of Special Warranty of title and subject to any encroachm
defects, or any state of facts which an accurate survey of said
property would show.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
