AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF HAWAIIAN CRAFTS, INC.,
IN THE SUM OF 05000.00 TO BE PAID IN CASH FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
LOT OR PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 3rd & OHIO
STREETS IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TOGETHER WITH CERTAIN MATERIALS
PURCHASED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR COMPLETION OF THE BUILDING
ON SAID PROPERTY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of Hawaiian Craft
Inc., in the sura of ;5000.00 to be paid ih cash for the purchase
Of a certain lot or parcel of land located at the Northeast corner
of the intersection of 3rd & Ohio Streets in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, said lot having a frontage of 115.5 feet on the east side
of 3rd Street and running back a uniform width along Ohio Street
173.25 feet, and also for the purchase of all conduits and hardwood
flooring intended for use by the City of Paducah for completion
of the building located upon said lot, the lumber purchased for
the construction of a stairway therein and the roofing material
on hand to complete a three-ply roof on said building; and the
'Rayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, for and
on behalf of the City of Paducah, a deed under which said real
9state shall be conveyed to Hawaiian Crafts, Inc., with covenant
)f Special %"larranty of title and subject to any encroachments,
iefects, or other state of facts which an accurate survey of said
)roperty would show, and under which deed the City of Paducah
shall also sell, transfer and convey to Hawaiian Crafts, Inc.,
t11 of the above described building materials.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
.nd after its adoption.
