That the r7ity I•:anager be, and lie is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of ono carload of O.A.2. quality of asphalt and another carload of L:.C.3. quality asplialt to be used in street construction -ork in the c:iiy of Paducah. He is requested to advertise by postin;; a notice at the Ci -.y Hall d •or and by inaei'tin notice of the requost fov bids in at least one issue of the Sun Domocrat. Tlio notice shall be posted and publi::l.ed at least seven days prior to the openin,_ of bids and no biu shall i;C opened within ten (10) days from the date on v:L.ich this resolution is adopted.
