BE IT ORDAINED BY THF BOARD OF COTIufjSSIOPT-i T OF 'rliT- CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Broadway Street from 28th Street to 32nd Street, inclusive, in the City of Paducah, be closed and abandoned, except the driveway and street consisting of a strip, street and driveway 66 feet in width ns now improved by an improved driveway and concrete, remains sidewalks, so that an irregular strip of ground/on either side of said street between 28th Street and 32nd -Street. It is the purpose Iamd intention of this ordinance to establish said Broadway Street a uniform width according to the plan and outline now established so that said street with the sidewalk spaces altogether sha'11 be 66 feet in width. All of the pro-erty northwardly and all of the Iproporty southwardly of said street as hereby established and closed I, shall revert to and become the property of the o -hers of the lots land parcels of ground abutting unon such street and upon such strip I of ground contiguous thereto SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby aphorized and directed to immediately file suit in the McCracken Circuit Court for the nur pose of carrying into effect the provisions of this ordinance and closing said street so as to reduce the same to a uniform width of 66 feet and to provide that the excess of ground constituting said two irregular strips of ground on either side of said street shall revert to the abutting property owners. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its cassage.
