FAST PROPERTY LINE OF 38TH STREET AND THE JUNCTION OF 38TR STRFFT AND GREGORY STREET WITH FRIEU14AN AVENUE, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT SAID FRIEDMAN AVINUE BE 60 FEET IN WIDTH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THF CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Friedman Avenue, from the east property line of 36th Street to the east property line of 38th Street and the junction of 38th Street with Gregory Avenue at Friedman Avenue, be closed and abandoned, except the driveway consisting of a strip 60 feet in width, and beginning at a point 14.50 feet north of the south line of Friedman Avenue at the east property line of 36th Street, as shown by the plat of Afton Heights (Addition to the City of Paducah, Kentucky recorded in Plat Book "A" page 1, McCracken County Court Clerk's office, and extending a uniform distance from the south property line of said Friedman Avenue 14.50 feet from t' -le east property line of 36th Street to the south property line of 38th Street and the Junction of 38th Street with Gregory Avenue at Friedman Avenue. It is the purpose and intention of tnis ordinance to establish the south line of said Friedman Avenue 14.50 feet north- wardly from the line established in said plat of Afton Heights Addition to t, a Cit-- of Paducah as aforesaid. All of the property nort}wardly from said 60 foot street, strip or driveway hereby declared to be and to constitute Friedman Avenue between 36th-treet,and 38th Street is hereby closed, and all of that part of said street, strip or driveway that is closed on either side of said 60 foot street is to revert to and become the property of the lots arra parcels of ground abutting thereon. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized and directed to immediately file suit in the McCracken Circuit Court for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of this ordinance and closing said street so as to reduce the same to a 60 foot street as herein provided.
