A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE PADUCAH WATER WORKS COMPANY

TO EXTEND ITS MAINS ON CERTAIN STRFETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the Paducah 'Nater Works Company be and is hereby
ordered and instructed to install and extend its mains as follows:
Along Powell Street, from Thurman Street
to Lizzie Street, and along Lizzie
Street, from Powell Street to Sowell
Street.
That said water mains shall in all respects be extended
and installed under Section 5 of an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE
TO CREATE AND ESTABLISH A FRANCHISE TO CONSTRUCT, 0-,N, ACQUIRE, MAINTAIN
AND USE A WATER WORKS PLANT AND WATER DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM WITHIN THE
CORPOFATE LIMITS OF PADUCAH AND INVESTING THE PURCHASER THEREOF WITH
l^'ITHTS, POWERS AND PRIVILEGES HEREIN SET FORTH, AND IMPOSING UPON SUCH
PURCHASER THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SET OUT IN THE ORDINANCE."
which was adopted by the General Council of the City of Paducah and
approved by the Mayor, May 22nd, 1925, and duly thereafter published
on May 26th, 1925.

This resolution shall take effect from and after its
