AN ORDINANCE AUTNORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE COE.1:11ISSIONER
OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO PURCHASE TVIO TROUSAND (2000) FELT OF 22 INCH
COTTON, RUBBER -LINED HOSE TO BE USED IN TIT FIRE DEPARTI:IENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TBE' BOARD OF COI:ii.IISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, IMNTUCKY.
SECTION 1.
That the Commissioner of Public Safety be and is hereby
authorized and empowered to purchase for the use of the Fire Department,
Two Thousand (2000) Feet 22 Inch cotton, rubber -lined hose, same to be
charged to the account of the Fire Department.
SECTION 2.
On account of the fact that the Fire Department is badly
in need of said cotton, rubber -lined hose, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage.
