HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 9, Page 375, No Resolution NumberPage 378 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GRAVEL STREET, AND CONCRETE CURBS, GUTTERS AND DRIVEWAYS ON ADAMS STREET, FROM THE WEST CURB LINE OF TVIENTY-EIGHTH STRFrT TO THE EAST PROPERTY LINE OF TWENTY-NINTH STREET, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, TOGETHER WITH ALL NECESSARY 11ANHOLES, INTAKES, CATCH BASINS, SEWER AND DRAIN PIPE AND ALL NECESSARY ENGINEERING, ADVERTISING AND LEGAL AND CLERICAL SERVICE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AT THE COST OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNF1RS AND PROVIDING THAT SAME MAY BE CONSTRUCTED UPON THE TEN YEAR PAYMENT PLAN. WHEREAS, it is deemed and is hereby declared to be a necessity that the driveway on Adams Street, from the West curb line of Twenty-eighth Street to the East property line of Twenty-ninth Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky be improved by the construction of gravel street, and concrete curbs, gutters and driveways, together with all necessary manholes, intakes, catch basins, sewer and drain pipe, NOW, THFREFORF, BE IT RESOLVED LAY THE BOARD OF COMMISEIONI,rRS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the driveway on Adams Street, from the Vilest curb line of Twenty-eighth Street to the East property line of Twenty- ninth Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky be constructed with gravel, and concrete curbs, gutters and driveways, together with all necessary manholes, intakes, chtch basins, sewer and drain pipe, and all necessary engineering, advertising and legal and clerical service in connection therewith, and all of which shall be done on the ten ye,r payment plan and assessed against the abutting property owners on both sides thereof. SECTION 2. The City Solicitor is hereby directed to br'.ng in an ordinance for the construction of said work after the adoption and passage of this resolution. SECTION 3.
