The Tfayor is hereby autrorized and directed to advertise for the purelase of suitable metal street signs, indicating the names of the streets in the City of Paducah, to be used upon all of said streets and to be placed at public street intersections, and same to be paid for and charSed to the Contingent Fund. SECTION 2. Upon the adoption and publication of this ordinance and after the effective date thereof, said bids may be received after due advertisement as provided by lav, but such bids sh?11 be sealed and shall be opened and considered in such manner as may be recuired by the advertisement, except that the right is expressly reserved to reject any and all bids —ithin the discretion of the Board of Commissioners. SECTION 3.
