WHEREAS, that certain strip of parcel of ground extending back from 4th Street towards 5th Street b etveen Broadway and Kentucky Avenue in the City of Paducah, and being 10 feet in width and being situated 163 feet and 3 inches South from the South property line of Broadway and being 322.50 feet in length, has for more than five years last past been open to the unrestricted use of the public as an alley of the City of Paducah and has been contin- uously used for said space of time, cnd for a longer time, as such alley, and IHERrAS, said alley is a necessary outlet to the rear of all of the property in said block abutting thereon, and same has never been by any express action or record deed declared to be an alley, 11017, TH-FFFOFE, BE IT ORDAINED RY TEE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ,.THF CITY OF PADUCAU, KNTUCKY: SECTION 1. That that certain strip of ground 10 feet in width and running back parallel to Broadway Street from 4th Street towards 5th Street a distance of 322.50 feet, between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue, the North line of which strip of ground is 163 feet and 3 inches from the South prd�ty line of Broadway Street, and all of said strip was taken off of the lots fronting upon Broadway, be, and the same is hereby, by reason of the fact that same has been open to the unrestricted use of the general public for more than five years last -last, declared a public alley -fray within the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and subject to the control, supervision and management of the City of Paducah.
