That all of the property on the Fast side of Twenty-second Street from the South broperty line of. Kentucky Avenue to the „orth property line of P!ashington Street, be,.and the same is hereby assessed for the cost of construction of concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, and all necessary driveways, manholes, intakes, catch basins and sewer pipe, and all necessary engineering, advertising and legal and clerical service in connection therewith. All of said work has been done under the ordinance and contract aforesaid and said assessment is as follows, to -wit: Concrete sidewalk Concrete gutter Concrete driveways 4" Cast Iron Pipe Concrete curb straight Concrete curb curved Cost of expansion joints Cost of Engineering & Inspection Interest Cost x$0.16 per so, ft. :36 per lin, ft. Pqlzlic ''forks, which estimates are adopted and made part hereof. SFCTION 2. That all of the funds derived from the assessment of said property aforesaid shall be used for the purpose of paying off the tax bills issued against said property, or such bonds as may be issued by the City of Paducah pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes. SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, as amended and re-enabted and now in force, said assessments may be, at the option of the property o,^-ners, payable in cash within thirty days from the date of the passing.and recording of this ordinanee, or in ten annual installments, pursuant to the Drovisions of said Statutes. SECTION 4. In order to provide a fund for the immediate payment of the cost of that portion of the special assessments herein provided for, •nnd which may be paid on the ten year installment plan, as hereinbefore provided for, the City of Paducah may issue and sell Page 253 Improvement Bonds, and to secure the payment of which bonds, there is hereby pledged such taxes and liens upon the property assessed herein for the payment of the principal and interest on such bonds, but such bonds shall not be sold for less than par, and the proceeds thereof applied exclusively to payment for the improvement of said streets as hereinbefore mentioned, and such bonds, if issued, shall bear interest and shall be payable in accordance with the provisions of Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, as amended and re-enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and nor! in force and effect.
