SECTION 1.
That Section 1 of an ordinance enti`led, "ATT O!'LITT.ATTCE

the same is hereby amended and re -ordained so as to read as

"Section 1. ))���Itt shall be unlxnf,i.l for any person, firm
or corporation withouh;r ocuring the consent and approval of the
City Planning and Zoning Commission to locate or construct any
?uilding or structure intended or designed to be used for any
business or industrial purposes, or to alter, change or remodel
any Luilding to be used for such purposes, or to use any,land for
such nurnoses within any residential zone, district, neighborhood
or section of said city, or in any otter district, neig`-borhood or
section wit' -in said county of ','cCracken, and rich is subject to
the Jurisdiction of the City Planning and Zoning Commission, except
under the conditions and provisions herein provided."
SECTION 2.
That section 6 of said ordinance be amended and re -
ordained so tT:at said section as so amended will read as follows:
"Section 6. It being the purpoee of this.ordinance to
invest the City Planning and Zoning Go,,iission with immediate and
defin`.te authority regarding tl,e control of the subjects over ;ihich
they are given power Pnd control '.infer s^id Act of t.i,a G=neral
Assembly, kno7•m and re`:'prred to as "The City Pla-,ning 2nd loning

Law" gfores-id, the provisions of ',his Orc'ina•;ee shall continue
in effect until expressly repeRled or superseded ly other and more
adequate provisions whicli msy hereafter be enacted by the Board of
Co--issicners. Provided, however, that any person, firm,
corporation or company that may be dis-satisfied or aggrieved
because of the action of the. s• id City Pln•lning and 'coning Commission

may forthwith appeal to the Board of Adjustment in all respects as
provided in the Act known and referred to ns "The City Planning and
Toning T,w" aVoresaid, end all subsequent proceedings after such appeal
s all be in nll respects as provided in said'City Planning and Zoning

SECTION 31.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after
its passage'.
