PAUUCAH AND APPROVED BY THE I,1AYOR OTT THE 28TH DAY OF JULY, 1927.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THF BOARD OF COiiC'I`"IOIF_RS Or. THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, ANTU --KY:
SECTION 1.
That Sections 2 and 6 of an ordinance entitled, "AN
ORDIN,'NCE PROVIDING RULES AND RLGULATIONS FOR THE INST!,LLATION AND
I
ALT RATION OF PLU?+BING AND FT,: rR'aGE IAT THE CITY OF PADUCAH, I rNTTTCY.Y"
which was adopted by the General Council of said City and approved by the
B!ayor on the 28th day of July, 1927, be amended so that said sections
as amended will read as follows:
"Section 2. Any architect, builder, agent, corporation,
owner, plumber or any person having in charge any building or promises
in which there is to be any construction or installation, or any alter-
ation or any plumbing, sewerage or drainage, shall secure a permit for
such work before beginning same, ( but every such application for such
permit shall be approved and signed by a licensed plumber holding a cer-
tificate from the Board of Plumbing Examiners of said City)
No permit shall be required for repairing leaks and
repairing valves or cocks, or unstopping and cleaning out waste pipes
or sewers.
Permit must be kept upon building or premises for which I
it was issued unli 1 completion and final inspection of work."
"Section 6. A plan, abstract or written explanation.of thq
nature of the work and method of performing same shall be furnished this
department, and receive the approval of the Inspector before a permit is
issued for same,(but every such plan, abstract or written explanation of 1
the nature of the work and method of performing same shall be furnished
by or signed and approved by a licensed plumber holding a certificate
from the Board of Plumbing Examiners of the pity of Pa6ucah;Kentuckty)
Said plan, abstract or written explanation shall be kept in the
Inspectors office, on file."
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage.
