A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE PADUCAH I'IATER COMPANY TO EXTENT
ITS MAINS ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1.
That the Paducah !!later Company be and is hereby ordered
and instructed to install and extend its mains as follows:
Clark Street from 28th St.to 26th St.
Yeiser Ave, from Main St.to Bethel St.
Paducah Lovelaceville Road from Adams
street to a point about 8001 south of
Adams Street.
That said water mains shall in all respects be extended
and installed under Section 5 of an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE
TO CREATE AND ESTABLISH A FRANCHISE TO CONSTRUCT, OWN, ACQUIRE,
MAINTAIN AND USE A STATER WORKS PLANT AND PLATER DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIIdITS OF PADUCAH, AND INVESTING THE PURCHASER
THEREOF WITH RIGHTS, POWER AND PRIVILEGES HEREIN SET.FbRTH, AND
IMPOSING UPON SUCH PURCHASER THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SET
OUT IN THE ORDINANCE" which was adopted by the General Council of the
City of Paducah and approved by the Mayor, May 22nd, 1925, and duly
thereafter published on May 26th, 1925.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage.
