C. R. R. COMPANY IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION ACROSS CLAY STREET A DISTANCE OF tiBOUT 350 FEET, AND BEING IN THE CITY BLOCKS, BOUNDED BY 8TH and 9TH STREETS, AND HARRISON AND TRIIlBLE- STREETS, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That F. L. Gardner and the I. C. R.R. Company be, and they are hereby authorized to construct a spur -track from a point running from the main line of the Cairo Track of said Railroad Company in a Northerly direction over and across Clay Street about mid -way between said Cairo line and the Freight House line of said Railroad Company a distance of about 350 feet, all of said spur -track lying and being in the City blocks bounded by 8th and 9th Streets, and Harrison and Trimble Streets in the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2. The City of Paducah expressly reserves the right to regulate by ordinance the use of said Clay Street in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be required for the safety of the traveling public, and for the general -relfare of said City.
