Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah
Yentucky:
Section 1. That there is hereb•, cren_tel the office of
license Inspector of the City of Taducah, ICertncky, :^rho shell, per-
form such other duties as mai- be assigned to him by the uenoral
Council.
Said officer shall be elected by the General
Council in the month of January of each year, :for the term of one
year, and until his successor is elected and qualified.
Section 2. Said officer shell be charsed ;°pith the duty of
seeing that the license ordinance of said city i s enforced, and that
every person, compapy or corrooration ameanable thereto is required
to comply with same. He shall also perform the duties of Deptty
assessor, and assist the -ssessor of the City of Paducah, Yentudky,
during the periods of assessments in the preparation of such re-
cords and books as may be required in said office; and to act as
Clerk of such Committees as may be assigned to him or designated by
the General Council.
Kid officer shall receive a salary of :1 w .0O
per year, payable in monthly installments as other salaries are paid.
All ordinances and parts of ord irances in con-
flict therewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall take
affect and be in force from and after its passage, a proval and publi-
cation.
