BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OI'' TILE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
That an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES
OF THE IIE14BERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE 1IRE DEPARTIhENT OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY", be, and the same is, hereby amended by striking
therefrom Sections 3 and 5, and inserting in lieu thereof the
following:
:SECTION 3
That there shall be paid to the Switch Board Operators,

who have been engaged in the service of the Fire Department of said
City for twelve (12) months next before the passage of this ordinance,
a salary of One Hundred and Twenty(fy120.00) Dollars each per month,
payable as other salaries is to time and manner of pa;ment.
: SECTION 5 :
That the salaries of the Firemen and Switch Board Operators
engaged in the Fire Department of said City, who have not been in
service of said Fire Department for twelve (12) months, as provided
in Sections 3 and 4 hereof, shall be paid One Hundred and Ten
($110.00) Dollars each per month, payable as other salaries as to
time and manner of payment, i
So that said Ordinance when, and as amended, shall read
I as follows:
. SECTION 1 :
That there shall be paid to the Chief of the Fire Departmen
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, a salary of Two Hundred (4200.00)
Dollars per month, payable as other salaries as to time and manner of
payment thereof.
SECTION 2 :
That,.there shall be paid to the Captains in charge of the
several stations of the Fire Department of said City, a salary of
One Hundred and Thirty -Five ($135.00) Dollars each per month, payablei
as other(, alaries as to time and manner of Dayment thereof.
SECTION 3
That there shall be paid to the Swi-tehboa-rd Operators,
who have been engaged in the service of the Fire Departlgant of said
City for twelve (12) months next before the passage of this ordinance,
a salary of One Hundred and Twenty (;$120.00)'tbllars each per month,
payable as other salaries as to time and manner of payment thereof.

: SECTION 4 :
That the salaries of the Firemen now employed in the Fire
Department of the City of Paducah, who have been in service and members
of the Fire Department .for twelve (12) months next before the passage of
this ordinance, shall be, and same are hereby fixed and established at
One Hundred and Twenty ($120.00) Dollars each per month, payable as other
salaries as to time and manner of payment.
: SECTION 5
That the salaries of the Firemen and Switchboard bperators
engaged in the Fire Department of said City, who have not been in service
of said Fire Department for twelve (12) months, as provided in Sections
3 and 4 hereof, shall be paid One Hundred and Ten ($110.00)Dollars each
per month, payable as other salaries as to time and manner of payment.
: SECTION 6 .
The salaries herein provided for shall be in effect from
and including April lst, 1925.
SECTION 7 .
All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
: SECTION 8
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from its
passage, record and publication.
