NIGHT CAPTAINS OF THE POLICE DEPARTEENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF SALARIE FOR SUCH C PW.INS OF POLICE.
BE IT ORD -TINED BY THE GENT:&'L COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH KENTUCKY:
--SEC TIOid 1. --
There is hereby created and established in the Police
Department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, the rank and position of
Day Captain of Police.
--SECTION There is is hereby created and established in the Police
Department of the City of Paducah the rank and position of Night Captain
of Police.
--SEC:_ION 3. --
The said Captains of Police shall be in charge of the
desk at the Central Office, and shall perform such other duties as the
Chief of Police of the City of Paducah shall designate.
--SECTION 4. --
The said Day and Night Captains shall each be paid as
dalary a sum of One Hundred and Forty Dollars (`140.00) per month for
the services performed, payable as other salaries as to time and manner
of payment. Said Salaries herein provided for shall be in effect fro

and including April 1st, 1925.
--SECTION 5. --
All ordinances, and parts of ordinances, in conflict
i
herewith, are hereby repealed.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
its passage, record and publication.
