A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM A14D SANITARY SEWERS IN SEi,ER ZONE NUMBER FOUR, IN SUB -DIVISION A AND B SEINER DIS12RIC^1 NUI BER THREE, TO BE A NECEI; SITY, and SETTING OUT, IN GENERAL TERES, THE PROPERTY SUBJECT TO TIE PkYI. Ell' OF THE COST OF SA ,IH. WHEREAS, there has been ceated and established, in the City of Paducah, 1:entucky, Sewer District No. 3, which has been divided into sub-divisiorB A, B and C; and, '.HEREAS, there is being constructed, in said Sewer District, trunk line sewers at the cost of the City of 2aducah, Lentucky, which trunk line seriers have now been completed; and, H�REAS, there has been created and established, Sewer Zone. `70:2;'in Sub -Divisions A and B, Sewer District No. 3, by an�k Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners on the 23rd day of February, 1923, wherein said -zone is described by metes and bounds, and is hereinafter described, and a plat of which zone appears on file in the office of the City Engineer of the City of Paducah, Lentucky, and may be inspected by anyone making -applica- tion therefor at said office; and, '; HEREAS; Sevier Zone idlunber Pour in Sub -Divisions A and B, Sevier District Niunber 3, is not provided with sewers, and r is in a thickly populated territory, and in order to provide ade- quate sewers for the property owners in said zone, it is hereby deemed and declared a. necessity by the General Council of the City i! of Paducah, Kentucky, that storm and sanitary severs be constructed in said zone in order to provide adequate sewerage for the property owners residing in said Zone; NOW, 'THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL 02''THE CITY OF PADUGAH, KEN'T'UCKY: i That it is hereby declared a necessity by the C. i j General Council of the City of Paducah, Lentucky, in order to secure adequate sewerage, and in order to protect the health of the citzens residing in Sewer Zone Number Four, Sub -Divisions A and B, Sewer District Number Three, that storm and sanitary sevjerss;of land benefitted thereby, and all of the lots or parcels of land embraced in said Zone are hereby declared to be the property benefitted, and subject to be assessed for the cost of constructing said sewers. NO. 292. Ido. 292. --SEC`T'ION 2. -- Said Sewer 'Lone Number Four of Sub -Divisions A and B, of Sewer District Number three, in which said sewers are to be constructed, is described by metes and bounds as follows, to -wit: Beginning at a point, the intersection of the center line of 13th street and the center line of an alley parallel to and 203 feet 3 inches southward from Trimble Street, said point being on the boundary of Sewer District No. 2; thence southward with the boundary of Sever District No. 2, along the center line of 13th Street, to a point 206 feet 3 inches northward from the center line of Broadway; thence at right angles westward, continuing along the boundary of Sewer District No. 2, parallel to and 2o6 feet 3 inches northwardly from the center line of Broadway, to the center line of 16th street; thence at right angles southward with the Bound- ary of Sewer District No. 2, 206 feet 3 inches to the center line of Broadway; thence at riht angles westward with the boundary of Sewer District No. 2, along the center line of Broadway to a point on the west line, if extended, of property of Ere. Rosena W. Bradshaw, said west line being 673 feet from the east property line of that part of 17th street (Fountain Avenue), which extends south from Broadway; thence at ri,-ht angles southward ,..ith the boundary of Sevier District No. 2, and with said west line of the Bradshaw property 208 feet; (2) In the event the cost of construction of said sewer shall exceed x,,2.00 per abutting foot along said streets, alleys or highways whereon said sewer shall be. constructed, then such cost shall be apportioned against all of the lots or lands in said Sevier zone benefitted by raid sewer according to the area in square feet pf the lots or lands so benefitted. And which streets, alleys or highways along which said sewer shall be constructed are described as follows, to -wit: On 25th Street, commencing at the proposed sevier on Jefferson Street and running thence southwardly on 25th Street, a distance of 370 feet from the center line of Jefferson Street. On 24th Street, commencing at the present trunk line sewer at 24th Street and the Hinkle- ville Road, and.rnnning thence north%.,iardl.y along 24th street, crossing Lindsey, and _ruger Streets and to the south property line of I.iildred Street, a total distance of approximately 1625 feet from the center line of the Hinrleville Road. On 23rd Street, commencing at the proposed sewer on Jefferson Street and running thence sonthwardly on 23rd street to the center line of an alley which lies between Jefferson Street and Broad,.+ray, and .rhich runs parallel thereto, a distance of 220 feet from the center line of Jefferson Street to the center lire of said alley. On 23rd Street, commencing at the proposed sever on Kentucky .venue and running thence north- wardly on 23rd street to the center line of an alley which lies between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue and which runs parallel thereto, a dis- tance of 206 feet from the center line of Lentucky rvenue to the center line of said alley. On 23rd Street, commencing at the present trunk line sewer on the Hin:,�leville Road and running thence northviardly on 23rd Street, crossing Lindsay and _:ruger Streets, and to the center line of I..ildred Street, a total dis- tance of approximately 1612 feet from the center line of the Iiinkleville Road to the center line of L,ildred Street.
