VJIEREAS, there has been created and established, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, Sevier Dis-.rict i?o. 3, w1iich has been divided into Sub - Divisions A, B and C; and, iiEREAS, there is being constructed, in said Sevier District, trunk dine seviers at the cost of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, :which trunk line sewers have now been completed; and, .r_'_.;REAS, there has been created and established, Sevier Zone Number Four, in Sub -Divisions A and_8, Sevier District Iio. 3, by an Ordinance adopted by tl3e Board of Commissioners on the 23rd day of February, 1923, ,Therein said Zone is described by metes and bounds, and is hereinafter described, and a plat of ahich zone appears on file in the office of the City Engineer of tho City of Paducah, I:entucky, and may be inspected by anyone making application therefor at said office; and, ::7I_sRL1S, Sevier Zone ilumber Four in Sub -Divisions A and -S-'), Sevier District No. 3; is not promided with seviers and is in a -thickly populated territory, and in order to provide adequate seviers for the property owners in said Zone, it is hereby deemed and declared a necessity by the General storm and Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, that sanitary seviers be con- structed in said 'Lone in order to provide adequate sewerage for t:e property ovmers residing in said Zone; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R'-'SOLV_ BY ThE GniiER_ L COUIXIL OF THE CITY OF PADUCi:N, Kr.'TIICKY: SECTION 1. That it is hereby declared a necessity by the General Council of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in order to secure adequate sc era,,e, and in order to protect tho health of the citizens residing in Sevier Zone Number four, Sub -Divisions A and g, Sewer District Number Three, that storm and sanitary seviers be constructed and laid out at the cost of the lots or parcels of land benefitted thereby, and all of the lots or parcels of land embraced in said Zone are hereby declared to be the property benefitted, and subject to be assessed for the cost of constructing said seviers. Si3CTION 2. I Said sewers shall be constructed alone; and under the follow- ing named streets and alleys in Sewer Zone Bo. 4, in Sub -Divisions A and 19,Seti.,er District Wo. 3, and the cost of same shall be apportioned against all the property in said sewer zone as follows: (1) All the lots or parcels of land bounding or abutting on the hereinafter named streets, alleys or highways along or under which such sewers shall be constructed are hereby declared to be the property benefitted thereby, and said cost shall be apportioned and assessed equally against said abutting lots or lands according to the abutting feet thereon, provided that the cost of said construction doesi i not exceed j2.00 per abutting foot. (2) In the event the cost of construction of said serer shall exceed �s�2.00 per abutting foot along any of said streets, alleys or highways whereon said sewer shall be constructed, then such cost shall be apportioned against all of the lots of lands in said serer zone benefitted by said sewer according to the area in square feet of the lots or lands so benefitted. All the above described lateral sever lines are to be non- structed with 6 inche/ house connection service lines extending from. the server proper .to the property lines of all property abutting on the streets or alleys in which it is proposed to construct the above described lateral sewers i:i such manner as to properly serve the property benefitted. v Six inch house connection service lines are to be constructed from the present sorer -lines (built under the 000,000. bond issue) to the property lines of all abutting property on the following streets or alleys,, in such manner as to properly serve the property benefitted: Clay Street iron 18th Street westward to a point about 447 feet westward from 19th Street. Across private property from a point on Clay Street about 447 feet westward from 19th Street; thence northward to a point on the Hinkleville Road a distance of 315 feet said point being about 30 feet westward from the center line of 20th Street. Hinkleville Road from a point about 30 feet westward from the center line of 20th Street westward to 24th Street. 19th Street from Clay Street southward to Jackson Street. 15th Street from the intersection of Trimble, Burnett, and 15th Streets, southward to Clay Street. SECTION 4. Notice is hereby given to the o,,iners of all property in said Zone, and all property bounding or abutting on any of said streets, alleys or hmghways, that the cost of construction of said sewer will be assessed against such property in the manner hereinabove provided. SECTION 5. A Blue Print or plat si!owing the boundary of Sewer `Lone Ido. 4, naming and showing the streets embraced in said zone, and showing the line and course of the sewer to be constructed 'hereunder, is filed herewith and made a part hereof, and marked Exhibit "a". SECTION 6. For additional information of the public and owners of property in said Zone a blue print or plat showing the boundary of said sewer zone and snowing the streets embraced therein and the line and course of the sewer to be constructed he--eunder, will be found on rile in the office of ti!e City Engineer of the City of Paducah, and may be inspected at any time upon application at said office. No. 158. Ordinances' SECTION 7.
