AN ORDINAIICE CREATING THE OFFICE OF PLUIMING AND SEVIER
INSPECTTOR AND CITY PLUMBER UNDER TIS; SUPLEIISTON OF THE ENGINEER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERiaL COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, Iff;IITUCI Y:
SECTION I.
There is hereby created the office of Piumbins and Sewer
Inspector and City Plumber. the qualifications of said Sewer and
Practical or
Plumbing Inspector sh•el'_ be a 11 licensed plumber of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2.
The duties of said Sewer Inspector and Plumber shall be the
inspecting of all plumbing and sewerage connection made in the
City of Paducah; to see that all plumbing and sewerage connections

now in effect. To superintend the cleaning of all trun' and lat-
eral sewers and keeping in,, order all sewers now built and to be
built by the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3.
It shall be the duty of said Sewer Inspectd)r and Plumber
to keep all plumbing work in all City Buildings in repair and any
other duties assicrned to him bythe City Engineer.
SECTION 4.
The said Sewer Inspector and Plumber shall be elected by
the General Council of the City of Paducah for a term of one year.
The salary of said Sewer Inspector and Plumber shall be :D'1500.00
per year, payable monthly out of the city treasury of Paducah.
SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall take effedt and be in force from and
after its passage, approval and publication.
SECTION6.
All Ordinances and:_ parts of Ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
